Commitment to Inclusion

Accessibility Statement

Neylak is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone.

Our Commitment

At Neylak, we believe that beauty is for everyone — and that means our platform must be usable by everyone, regardless of disability, age, or access to assistive technology. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across our web and mobile applications.

Accessibility is not a checklist item — it's an ongoing commitment. We have a dedicated accessibility team, conduct regular audits with third-party specialists, and welcome direct feedback from users with disabilities to help us identify and fix barriers.

Accessibility Features

👁️

Screen Reader Compatibility

Our web and mobile applications are built with semantic HTML and ARIA attributes to ensure compatibility with leading screen readers, including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (iOS and macOS), and TalkBack (Android). All interactive elements are correctly labeled and navigable via keyboard.

⌨️

Keyboard Navigation

Every feature on Neylak can be accessed and operated using only a keyboard. Focus indicators are clearly visible. Tab order follows a logical, predictable sequence. Modal dialogs trap focus appropriately and release it correctly on close.

🎨

Color Contrast

All text and interactive elements meet or exceed the WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio requirements (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and UI components). We conduct regular contrast audits as part of our design review process.

🔍

Text Resizing

Content remains readable and functional when text is resized up to 200% using browser zoom or system font size settings. We avoid fixed pixel font sizes and use relative units (rem/em) throughout the interface.

💬

Captions & Transcripts

All video content on Neylak includes accurate closed captions. Educational and instructional videos are accompanied by written transcripts. Live streamed events include real-time captioning where technically feasible.

Motion & Animation

We respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query. Users who have indicated a preference for reduced motion in their operating system settings will experience a version of Neylak with animations disabled or substantially reduced, preventing discomfort for those with vestibular disorders.

📝

Accessible Forms

All forms include visible labels associated with their fields, descriptive error messages that clearly communicate what went wrong and how to fix it, and success confirmations. Required fields are marked both visually and programmatically.

📱

Mobile Accessibility

Our mobile experience is designed for users of assistive technologies on iOS and Android. Touch targets meet the WCAG minimum size of 44×44 pixels. Gestures have keyboard-accessible alternatives. Pinch-to-zoom is not blocked.

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following accessibility gaps and are actively working to resolve them:

  • Some older PDF documents in our press kit may not be screen-reader accessible. We're recreating these in accessible HTML formats.
  • The product image gallery on artist profiles uses custom swipe gestures that may not be operable by keyboard alone. A keyboard alternative is in development.
  • Some third-party embeds (social media feeds) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 as they are outside our direct control.

Feedback & Contact

If you experience any accessibility barriers on our platform, or if you'd like to request content in an accessible format, please contact our accessibility team. We take all reports seriously and aim to respond within 2 business days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the U.S. Access Board or file a complaint with the Department of Justice.
